GVS MXF Emergency Shut-Off Excess Flow Valves

Description:

GVS MXF valves provide instant shut-off in the event of a line break without the need for an actuator. As the fluid enters the valve it flows through the orifice to the outlet. The orifice and tapered piston create a venturi effect, accelerating the flow through the valve. At a pre-set flow rate, the pressure differential will off-set the spring-loading of the piston to shut the valve. Fluid can flow through the valve in either direction, however, in the event of an emergency shut-off, flow will be shut-off in the direction indicated on the valve.

A data-sheet will be provided and is required for the appropriate calibration of the MXF valve.
